My name is Daniel Michelson. I am a real person, and I believe that is important in a world where so much content and information on websites is now created with the help of AI.
Four years ago, in 2022, I faced the need to transport my dog, Shandy, and quickly realized how difficult the process could be. I opened Google and started researching pet transportation and pet taxi companies. I contacted many companies by phone and email. Some never responded to my messages, while others did not answer their phones. On many websites, I also could not find clear information about pricing or the services they offered.
That experience gave me the idea to create one of the largest databases in the United States dedicated to pet transportation companies, bringing all the important information together in one place - including phone numbers, email addresses, service areas, types of transportation, certifications, and insurance information when available.
I brought together a team of like-minded people who work on a volunteer basis, and we are constantly researching, verifying, and updating the information in our Pet Taxi Services Directory.

At the moment, we are looking for a fair and objective formula for ranking pet transportation companies in our listings. We want the ranking system to genuinely help pet owners find reliable providers rather than simply favor companies that pay for better visibility.
